Increase Noninterest Income

- Using ICS® and/or CDARS®, liquid banks can sell excess deposits to banks that want funding and can earn fee income in the process.
- Banks can use Bank Assetpoint® and Residential Mortgage Network when selling loans. In doing so, a bank can leverage its geographic and industry-specific lending strengths to earn origination and servicing fee income, generate revenues, deepen relationships with existing borrowers, and manage potential concentrations. In addition, with Residential Mortgage Network, a bank can access correspondent lending solutions and sell the mortgages it originates to a national or regional mortgage firm that has agreed to buy mortgages in the secondary market.
- A bank can also use Bank Assetpoint to refer certain loan requests that it chooses not to service to other lenders in exchange for noninterest income. By providing a relevant referral, your bank may be able to satisfy its customers’ borrowing needs and protect customer relationships from competitors, all while adding to its bottom line.
Placement of customer funds through the ICS or CDARS service is subject to the terms, conditions, and disclosures set forth in the applicable program agreements, including the applicable Participating Institution Agreement and Deposit Placement Agreement. Limits apply, and customer eligibility criteria may apply. ICS program withdrawals are limited to six per month when using the ICS savings option.
